More real than reality: dance in 3D

Three-dimensional technology appears on the dance scene; that is to say the technical
possibility of “projecting” onto the stage space images that seem solid bodies in
movement, though unconstrained by their limitations. A French company, Dassault
Systèmes, invited Marie-Claude Pietragalla and her partner Julien Derouault to
create a show in which their dancing bodies move among virtual images
