The prodigal daughter returns to Covent Garden (and elsewhere)

The popularity of Alessandra Ferri, young star of The Royal Ballet and muse of
Kenneth MacMillan, began in London. Now, after a dazzling international career, an
unexpected retirement from the stage and an even more unexpected return, there she
was again at Covent Garden in a creation by Wayne McGregor. Her schedule is
chockablock and includes tours with her new partner Herman Cornejo and a
creation by John Neumeier in Hamburg. At 52 years of age, her career continues...
