Robert Wilson: all theatre is dance

American director/choreographer Robert (Bob) Wilson is possibly the most influential
living world theatre artist and preserves his ability to amaze, albeit with the highlyrecognizable
hallmark of his aesthetics and ideas. According to his vision, dance – in
a more or less evident manner – is an essential element of theatre. His most recent
works include “Oedipus Rex” in Vicenza (Italy) and “Turandot” in Madrid.
