Images from the 2022/2023 season

We hope our readers will appreciate this Special Photo Edition, something we offer from time to time; it is certainly not intended to replace BALLET2000’s established format which includes longer texts, several news items, a cover story explored in-depth, reviews of performances across the world and various articles.

In this edition, photography takes centre stage. Without fully omitting written commentary on the world of dance during the 2022/2023 season, our intention is to provide a visual overview, each image accompanied by a brief text containing news or/and opinion, written by our dance critics.

We have chosen over fifty images for their visual quality but also for their ability to communicate instantly the essence of a performance, a company, or an artist.
